What does Dark Mode do?

You may recognize it from years ago: Text on computers was displayed on a black background. Now, a few decades later, the use of this black background is growing in popularity again. The idea behind Dark Mode is that it reduces the amount of light emitted, while still maintaining a contrast between text and background. This means that text on the screen remains readable, but the screen is slightly less bright.

How to Turn on Dark Mode on your iPhone?

To enable dark mode, follow these steps:

• Open the Settings app on your iPhone .
• Scroll down and tap 'Display & Brightness'.
• Under 'Display', tap 'Dark'.

To turn off dark mode, follow the same steps, but tap 'Light' in the last step.
You can also set Dark Mode to turn on automatically at sunset or at a specific time. To do this, go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Automatic and set your preferred schedule.
