Why a refurbished MacBook?

Is a refurbished MacBook the same as a second-hand MacBook? We often see this question. The answer is simple: No.

A refurbished MacBook is a used MacBook. So much for the similarities with second-hand. But where a second-hand MacBook is offered for sale without additional inspection, a refurbished MacBook has already undergone a thorough quality inspection. All important parts are checked for quality and - if necessary - replaced. Think for example of the battery, the part that wears out the fastest.
