For an iPhone or iPad, 'Find My iPhone' (FMI) / 'Find my iPhone' must first be turned off before you send the device in. If FMI is still active, we cannot register your device for repair. You can do this by following these steps:
1. Go to the 'Settings' app
2. Select 'iCloud' and then 'Find My'
3. Then tap the slider next to 'Find My iPhone'
